A SNAPSHOT OF PREVIOUS ADVENTURES
SOLO ATLANTIC ROW
Over the course of 4 years I ran the Sea Change Sport campaign - a bid to train for, and solo row the Atlantic Ocean to fundraise for Women In Sport. Departing from Tenerife in the Canary Islands, I traversed over 3000 miles (5000km) of vast ocean alone to reach the finish line in Port St. Charles, Barbados. This one event required me to develop a multitude of new skills and obtain numerous qualifications. It also required huge lifestyle changes and dedicated training.
With COVID taking hold mid-way through the campaign, I was forced to make the difficult decision to postpone for a year. Eventually departing on 11 February 2022, I spent 40 days, 21 hours and 1 minute at sea, arriving into Barbados on 24 March 2022 and breaking the previous world record by 8.5 days. The challenge of a lifetime, I rowed in excess of 1.5 million oar strokes in an ocean which, at its most vast, is 5.2 miles deep. At times, the closest person to me was in the International Space Station.

GRAN PARADISO
Situated between the Aosta Valley and the Piedmont regions, and standing at 4061m, Gran Paradiso is the highest peak entirely in Italy. Hiking through boulder-strewn slopes and crevasses to reach the summit, this mountain proved the perfect training ground for bigger peaks to come.
MONT BLANC
At 4808m, Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe. Living in Switzerland at the time, I trained for this summit expedition by hiking and running the stunning landscape surrounding my home in Geneva. My first experience of grand scale exposure, this trip sparked the desire to take on a larger, solo expedition.
KILIMANJARO
At 5895m, Kilimanjaro is the tallest freestanding mountain in the world. One of the seven major summits, we started in jungle-like lower grounds, trekking over 5 days to the peak.
KYRGYZSTAN
Starting in the Karakol Valley, I hiked the 3900m Ala Kul pass before descending into the Altyn-Arashan Valley. After a week in the mountains, I attended the World Nomad Games, an international sports competition in Central Asia.
